Solitude Blog 20 and Loving It
0 Love Comments  Well, there's not really much to being 20 years old and not loving than being so and loving it. But somehow i feel i've matured a bit already...though i probably haven't and it sounds ridiculous to say i have! My birthday was very nice; my uncle Joe and girlfriend came over, my bestie was here and our neighbours. I got some VERY NEAT pressies that evening! To name a few;CDs: Christina Aguilera's "BIONIC" and Miley Cyrus' "CAN'T BE TAMED". Both i am overly happy with. Can't stop listening to them haha. I do think they're my summer albums for this year, they're just that awesome!
Movies: Surviving Summer (aka According To Greta!!), Alice in Wonderland, Leap Year and an Audrey Hepburn collection. The first film listed was an absolute surprise, for many reasons! Firstly, i didn't know they changed the title-again! Didn't know you could buy it in Ireland AND i didn't think my Dad was that cool to get me something i was dying to see that i didn't even know was out here! Haha I got some deadly girls stuff; a light-up make up mirror by No7, a Philips Braun hair shaver thingy, some delicious chocolates (not that it's only girly), then also a Johnny Depp biography, gorgeous clothes from Lipsy (LOVE LOVE LOVE), a teddy puppy whom i named Yogi, shopping vouchers which i love to get, earrings and other little things. My bro got me this adorabubble Hello Kitty summer dress, in sailor stripes. It's so sweet!! And Karl landed the best surprise present since Paris; dinner in Eddie Rockets and then to the National Concert Hall for a jazz quintet!!!   Ok...i'll shut up about presents now! It's just so nice to see that people are so thoughtful and generous ya know. I always do my best to give back in return for such lovely gifts. Mam also made an amazing dessert cake, Queen of Puddings!! Oh wow...it was soo delicious. I could've eaten it all! Haha, and i did eat a large portion tee hee! Last Day of Teenagehood

My birthday is tomorrow!!! Haha i am so excited, which is strange cos not much is going down tomorrow, but FRIDAY!! That will be the party night. Wow...i feel like such a little kid haha! But who cares, i'm uber excited whooooo!! I haven't done much yet for the Recipe Book though..which i'm a tad annoyed with cos i need to get a move on there! I know a few of the recipes will include Bread & Butter Pudding, Chicken Stir Fry, Malagasy Samosa, Dad's Chicken Curry and Dad's Beef Curry.. so that's a good start right? RIP Auntie Maire

So this time i have sad news again.. my great auntie Maire has passed away. At 12am, 27th June she passed away from us. It's a very sad day because yesterday my family celebrated the Malagasy Day of Independence which was full of laughs and whatnot. But then today we mourned a loss of a loved one. Tragedies happen too often. Had a family meal at a cousin's house. Saw all the family and my second-cousins, which was nice.. Can't talk about this any more.I finally launched my fashion blog, KILLER FASHION! I'm so proud of it; it looks good, the content is becoming plentiful and i've been getting some nice comments from friends and others. The coding took ages, because i opted for a Div layout, rather than Tables, (which Solitude is). I also registered it for a .TK domain name, so it's easier to advertise hee hee! My friend was saying i should try getting advertisements or promotions for companies/brands/designers, and earn me some dosh! But...i dunno, maybe?Finally, I recorded a cover song for my YouTube! "Starry Eyed" by Ellie Goulding. I did the acoustic version cos i'm in love with her acoustic sets and was lucky enough to find an acoustic instrumental on YT! Lucky me, so check it out yes-yes?
